brett w urben – I love ya. Here's to a positive 2025. Let the orange man hold no sway over us. And if you support the orange man, hopefully you are on the side of those marginalized by the system, no matter the color of their skin/etc.
Stay safe and god bless. How are ya?

Hey. I'm good. Well, as good as I can be. As a Russian citizens, we have somehow even worse leaders than an orange man and currently they are banning intenational web resources and vpns. That being said, I'm optimistic that freedom and human rights will prevail in the end, no matter where you are. Stary strong, stay vigilant.

Brett W Urben – I'm actually in a pretty well-balanced place as 32 year old straight white dude, considering the cultural climate.

I'm just worried about the next four years for obvious reasons. I'll surive, though. I always do. How are you?

Nervous, mostly for my friends who are definetly not straight white men lol.
I'm going to be there for them as much as I can in this time though.

Really glad to hear you are doing well, I feel like I only hear bad or distressing news today.

Here's to surviving!

Hey b,

I'm worried about the next four years as well, though a bit more pointedly. I'm a 31 year old, newly discovered trans lesbian teacher just starting to make my various doctors' appointments.
I'll likely be fine since I'm in California, but I'm still freaking out about it given everything. And a bunch of my students are as well. I keep wondering what I'm supposed to tell them whenever things happen.

brett w urben – Is chivalry dead?

No, just not as common as it used to be sadly 🙂

Is chivalry dead?

Hey b,
I don't know why you ask this but let me tell you this:
Chivalry is dead. I'm sorry.
It's an old concept and people have moved on.
But that's not all bad!
Nowadays more and more people are becoming empathetic which is, I think, even better than chivalry.
Oh, and if you mean the game, the second one is still active and even more fun than the first.
Lots of love, G
