To The Actual Humans (An Algorithmically-Inconvenient Appreciation Post)

Thank you to everyone who has actually been listening, downloading, subbing, and even throwing some clams at BoloTape Vol. 3.

I see the stats, the people grabbing the lossless WAVs, the new subs on YouTube and Bandcamp.

That’s worth more than a million bots clapping on command.

Meanwhile, YouTube keeps proudly serving me “ENGAGEMENT” as if getting drive-by comments like “I don’t get it?” is some kind of artistic metric instead of just a live readout of how successfully Google and DARPA have sandblasted people’s attention spans.

Let’s be clear:

If you’ve ever:

• downloaded a track,
• read a GUF piece start to finish,
• replayed a mix,
• or recommended my stuff to another human being,

you are the reason I keep feeding this machine anything at all.

To everyone else farming “I don’t get it?” for free dopamine:
congrats, the algorithm loves you, but no one else does.
